Yoga Asana: "Sarvangasana" (Shoulder Stand)

Namaste,Hari Om,

This will be one of the many Yoga postings,

This post focuses on the Sarvangasana, otherwise known as the Shoulder Stand. I have encountered many yoga instructors that have stated that this is one of the most important asanas (postures) in yoga.

Its benefits are numerous, the blood flow in the shoulder stand helps to clean out the organs of any old blood thus rejuvinating the organs and internals to become stronger.

Here is a step by step guide on how to do the Shoulder Stand; http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/yogapractice/shoulderstand.asp

here is a video on how to do this also; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CiaHCD5Iig.

Yoga is encouraged as it can help your daily living quality and most importantly your mental awareness and stability.
