Found this article on Hindu American Foundation (HAF) - this group does allot for Hindus and other religions as well. They preach the message of unity within the Hindu world and outside but from a global and  American point of view.

Having a group like this in the US is really helpful as many people that come to the US are either first or second generation families- who are not 100% adapt to the political and media systems of the US. Having a group who can impact the media and the government is really helpful! Many thanks to HAF, they have done so much for Hindus in the United States!
